Each day more of our private lives become public through Facebook. With the daily updates of profiles and photos there will be a time where you will find a friend’s photo album that you would love to have for the memories, but having to save one image at time is boring and time consuming. Worry no more, here are 5 great ways to download Facebook albums all at once.
1. Facebook Photo Album Download a.k.a. FacePAD
FacePAD is the most popular way to download Facebook photo albums. FacePAD is a free Firefox add-on that allows you to download the whole album with just a right-click. Simple to use and effective, compatible with Windows and Mac OS X.
2. Fotobounce
Fotobounce is a desktop application that not only allows you to view and download Facebook albums, it also has face recognition which automatically identifies friends and families and tags them. Also comes with Flickr and AirSet and it allows you to view your images from a mobile device.
This is by far a must-have if you don’t like having browser add-ons.

4. Album Downloader
Album Downloader is a Facebook Application allows you to download photo albums of your friends on Facebook and save them on your PC. As simple as that, if you read the reviews you can see people actually have a love/hate thing with this app, some say it makes wonders other don’t like it too much.
5. Album Copier
Album Copier is a soon-to-be launched application that allows you to download any web photo album, not only Facebook albums, MySpace, PhotoBucket, and others.
“If you find a gallery that cannot be downloaded simply let us know and we will make it work at no cost to you.”
Two things wrong with this application, first, you have to pay for it. Really? Pay for it? When there are other browsers addons and web apps that allows you to do the same and they want to charge for this? I don’t know what’s going on. And it only works on Windows XP or later.
There you have it, 5 ways to download your and your friends Facebook albums. Which one do you have? And if any of you find any better ones please share them in the comments.
