Map Your Friends with Glassmap App for iOS and AndroidGlassmap just launched today. It’s an app that persistently shares your location with your friends.

Yup, it tracks your friends very closely.

Co-founder Geoffrey Woo says the app aspires to let you  ”point at your friends, see what they’re seeing, and jump into their context.” Glassmap is designed to know where your friends are and how long they’ve been there.

The app was conceived at Stanford University with the help of YCombinator. Currently 10% of Stanford undergrads are using the app. It has since rolled out to 10 other colleges.

Googles Data Geeks Launch New Interactive Website to Showcase Youtubes Explosive Growth

In 2007 Youtube began keeping track of how many hours of video were uploaded every minute. Back then, six hours of video was uploaded every single minute. In 2010, that number increased to around 48.

Today, Google has announced that every minute, 60 hours of video is uploaded to Youtube. That’s one hour of video every second!
