Do you use spaces on your mac? If not you should. Spaces allows you to multitask like a champ. Since I do a lot of blogging on various sites, I like to use spaces to organize separate desktop areas. For example, in space 1 I have all my programs open to work on a specific blog. This allows me to keep all of my work organized and separate from each job, which helps to eliminate clutter.
